Copper roof houses and feeders
How to Mount Your Copper Roof Bird House/ Bird Feeder
Mounting bracket:
1. Where is the bracket?
If you don’t see the bracket: It is there!
For shipping purposes, we take the roof and put it at the bottom of the feeder or house to protect it, just unwrap it and you'll see the mounting bracket, then just put the roof on the other side.
2. Which post to use?
For most of our large and medium copper roof houses and feeders, the post mounting bracket comes as a 3.5"x3.5" option and 4x4" option.
The bracket has an inner sleeve, if you find an inner sleeve in the box, it means that:
1. Your house/feeder can be mounted on a true 4"x4" post sleeve.
* You can find these post sleeves at any home improvement store or on our shop.
2. If you would like to mount it on a 3.5"x3.5" woodne post, all you need to do is placing the inner sleeve in the bracket and mount it on the post.
* Pressure-treated wooden post is recommended, find these posts at any home improvement store or on our shop.
* If you don't see the inner sleeve, it means that this house has either a 3.5"x3.5" or 4"x4" mounting bracket.
3. How to mount on a post:
1. Mount post into the ground using concrete.
2. If you mount the post only inside the soil, please make sure to mount it 2 ft inside the ground and to pack the dirt hard enough!
3. Once it’s mounted you just need to place the feeder/house on it.
